Trying To Get Even

Nice pick-6 Carryover today, with over $126k already in, and $600k total expected to be bet. There are way too many tough races to jump in with any confidence. I bet a small ticket, and singled the Baffert speed Indian Firewater, but I doubt I'll even make it that far.

In today's first race, Stephen's Got Hope (15-1) looks to be a very nice sort for Lisa Lewis. The morning line is inflated here because several of this Texas bred gelding's morning works have been left off the official tab. Alex Solis jumps off the short price second choice, Cape Finisterre, to ride Stephen's Got Hope - and I'm sure that isn't just a coincidence. This one is well meant today for a $75000 tag, and hopefully we get at least 5-1, although that seems unlikely here.
